GUEST PRESENTER: Land Rover Owners Club of Brisbane

What would you do if your plans to spend a week exploring K'gari Fraser Island almost crumbled the day the before you were meant to leave?

It was this exact scenario that eventually propelled me into Defender ownership, as I explained in my presentation to the Land Rover Owners Club of Brisbane recently.

It was a privilege to be guest presenter at the club's December monthly meeting, making for a fantastic turn out and evening at the Tingalpa Hotel.

I shared some of my best, most challenging and quirkiest experiences in the world of Land Rovers and 4WDing - and how it has now culminated in becoming the 'Lady in a Landy' (even though that still feels a bit odd to say out loud).

Sharing my adventures and projects has been a great way to build a community online, encourage others to get outdoors and subtly show that women can be equally capable in the 4WD world.
