With just over two weeks' notice (eek!), I pulled together plans for a Brisbane road trip and got the Defender ready to go on display at one of the biggest 4WD events in Queensland.
Just a quick video to share some highlights from the Brisbane National 4x4 Outdoors 4X4 Show - it was a truly amazing experience to be a tiny part of such a huge event. 🙌
From over 200 entries, I was ecstatic to have my car selected as one of only 30 to go on display in the Rough & Tumble category of the Show N Shine.
It wasn't the coolest or most customised vehicle there by a long shot (that bar was set extremely high), but I was truly grateful for the opportunity and certainly didn't expect to be chosen out of what were some amazing entries.
The Defender got a full detail in the lead up, then some more polishing before the show, and finishing touches on the day to make sure it was looking its best... full disclosure: it will probably never be that clean again!
